2018 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
FOR THE AWARD OF ASSOCIATE DIPLOMAS AND PRESENTATION OF PRIZES

The 27th day of June, 2018 was another milestone in the history of Ilesa Business School at which not less than 30 graduands were admitted into Associate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Professional Diploma in Business Management. These are the new eagles released into the society to positively impact industries in Africa.

Also, not fewer than 11 graduands were equally awarded “Community Service Award” in recognition of their Voluntary Service to community development in Ilesa, Nigeria.


The commencement theme was “Take initiative and get in the game” which was delivered by Ms Adetola Agbeniyi  a Nigerian business lady who is into leather works. She is a Masters Degree holder in Analytical Chemistry from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. She is the founder and CEO of Princesstol Creative World- The company’s products include Princesstol footwear, Princesstol bags, and Princesstol leather chair. She is a multiple award-winning entrepreneur, recipient of the prestigious International Breweries Plc (Kickstart Award) and Nigerian Breweries Plc (Isedowo project). The valedictorian of the day was Fadesewa Arigbede whose speech encouraged her colleagues to take the bull by the horn by applying all they have learnt in the school to influence their future careers and studies.  

Mr. Olu Olujide, the Registrar of the School presented each of the graduands to the Commencement Chairman Dr. Adedeji Haastrup, for them to be admitted into their respective diplomas. Summary of their business plans was read to the Chairman, and it was a great moment as the graduands have put in place commendable business ideas that are capable of contributing to the growth of industries in Nigeria.
