ILESA BUSINESS SCHOOL CONGRATULATES MR. OBINNA JOHN ON INDUCTION AS FELLOW OF THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

Ilesa Business School is delighted to congratulate Mr. Obinna John, B.Sc, M.Sc, FCIA, on his induction today, 12th December 2025, as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA) held today at Centre for Management Development Centre, Lagos

The Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) is the recognized professional body mandated by the Federal Government of Nigeria to oversee standards, training, and practice in administration across the country. Fellowship is the Institute’s highest membership level, carrying full rights, privileges, and honours under the Chartered Institute of Administration Act No. 103 of 1992.

This esteemed recognition—achieved following the successful completion of the Professional Training Programme at Ilesa Business School, and complementing Mr. John’s extensive academic qualifications and professional accomplishments—reflects his exceptional administrative aptitude, leadership capabilities, and unwavering dedication to organizational excellence. The School is proud to have contributed to his professional development.

Mr. John has established himself as a highly respected professional in social work, psychology, public affairs, and organizational leadership, with over a decade of significant impact in corporate management, public health, and community initiatives. He currently serves as Managing Director of DIPSEA Consulting and Technical Services, where he provides strategic guidance, fosters organizational growth, and ensures quality in consulting and technical operations.

Previously, he held pivotal positions including General Manager at Oguchi International Ltd and Manager of Public Affairs at Golden Silk Industries, where he distinguished himself in strategic planning, conflict management, stakeholder relations, and organizational improvement. Notably, he implemented a welfare unit at Golden Silk Industries that enhanced staff wellbeing, productivity, and engagement.

Academically, Mr. John’s foundation in medical social work and public health began at the University of Ibadan, where he coordinated psychiatric and social service programs, initiated anti-drug campaigns, and collaborated with government agencies to support vulnerable populations.

He holds a B.Sc in Social Work from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an M.Sc in Psychology from ESCAE University, Benin, with research focused on the link between personality and psychological health among crime suspects and non-suspects in Anambra State. He has further advanced his studies by enrolling in a PhD program in Psychology at Lead City University, Ibadan (commencing September 2025).

Mr. John is a member of the Medical Social Work Association of Nigeria and is recognized for his integrity, emotional intelligence, and people-focused leadership. His professional journey demonstrates a consistent commitment to ethical administration, research-driven decision-making, and impactful organizational performance.
