RURAL ENTERPRISE AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT

In Nigeria, agricultural produce emanates from the rural areas but due to poor infrastructural development in the rural areas, rural-urban migration has been on the high side in recent times. More than 50% of Nigeria inhabitants live in rural communities, yet the area is deficient of quality health services that would substantially improve the health need of the rural dwellers. Hence, the present situation in Nigeria rural communities, characterizes – poverty, poor entrepreneurial skills, underdeveloped market, poor access to health information, poor births and deaths registration, poor data on diseases affecting the rural dwellers and many more

This intervention is aimed at stimulating rural investment for sustainable agribusiness enterprise and improving access to health matters. This will in turn improve livelihoods, increase incomes of the poor and enhance opportunities for decent employment generation and quality of life.
